In 2006 jewelry designer, Anita Ko, launched her fresh and modern jewelry collection. Anita’s passion for creating precious jewerly has established her as one-to-watch of a newgeneration of Los Angeles designers.

A native Angelino, Anita’s love of fashion developed during childhood and after receiving a degree in Art History from New York University she launched a hangbag line in 1997. By 2001 Anita had a new take on managing a business and began working toward her dreams of designing fine jewelry, at which time she started Wagner & Ko with a friend. Encouraged by her inherent entrepeneurial character and artistic talent, Anita transitioned into her own line in 2006, which was quickly picked up by exclusive retailers such as Maxfield, Ikram, Roseark and Jeffrey’s. With her passion for everything 1940’s through 1980’s, Anita Ko jewelry encompasses micro-pave diamonds, 18 karat gold, and vibrant semi precious stones, all in unique contemporary custom designs. Her pieces are perfect from day-to-ni, for all occasions.

Anita understands that the modern woman’s sense of individuality has become more important and designing gives Anita an outlet in which she can use her everyday surroundings - friends, fashion, film, home, music and art - to incorporate into creating intricate jewelry. Anita’s approach to design is reflected through her local lifestyle and inspirted by rebellious characters and animals that represent true independence, love and luck. Anita chooses not to design per season, but in a more whimsical manor, using geometric shapes and animals, such as bats, snakes, English bull dogs, pigs and cougars.
